MACARON MONDAYS – RUELO PÂTISSERIE
The first time I finally tried macarons, they were from Ruelo Pâtisserie. Their first shop opened a few years ago. Specializing in French pasteries, macarons and afternoon tea, they have captured the hearts and taste buds of all those who try their desserts.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I had fallen in love at first sight with macarons after seeing Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette. At the time, the treat had not yet become trendy and widespread as it has today. There were shops across Europe but seemingly nowhere else in the world. I had accepted that the possibility of trying a macaron depended on my ability to visit Europe. Being a high schooler then, I had no personal funding for that sort of travelling. That dream had to be put on hold for the time being.
